Mrs. Helen C. Lamar, 90, of Birmingham, AL passed away Friday, August 13, 2021.
She was a retired school teacher of the Birmingham City School System.
She was a member of Metropolitan AME Zion Church and the Missionary Society. She is survived by her daughters, Acquinetta L. White and Cynthia L. Jones (Percy); grandchildren, Mario T. White, Rahsaan L. Jones (Shakita), and Natasha R. Hatcher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 1PM-6PM at Bushelon. Cryptside service will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11AM at Elmwood Mausoleum.
Masks and social distance required.
