I was very sadden to hear of the passing of Dr. Berry. My mother, Irene Clay taught Dr. Berry when she attended Rosenwald Elementary. My mother was SO PROUD of her accomplishment and especially impressed when she returned to South Bay to honor her upbringing and nurturing by serving as an elected public servant. She was a gentle giant and force to be reckoned with. Rest in Power Dr. Berry.
