Frank (Franklin) D. Bailey was born on November 29, 1938 to the late James and Flora Mae Carruth Bailey.
He completed his education at Tabor Chapel High School. He went on to work in logging, poultry, farming, and the sugar industry. Frank later retired from Evercane Sugar Refinery as a lab technician after almost 30 years.
Frank met and married the love of his life Helen Morris on February 8, 1958. To this union, four children were born.
Frank accepted Christ at an early age. He sung with the male chorus and mass choir at Mount Calvary. He served as trustee, deacon and Sunday School Superintendent as well.
On January 29, 2022 Frank answered the Masterβs call, he is now walking the streets of gold.
Frank leaves cherished memories to his devoted wife of 63 years Helen Bailey, Clewiston, FL; four biological children: Deborah (Calvin deceased) Castleberry, Clewiston, FL, Priscilla (Rev. Dwayne) Brown, Clewiston, FL, Frank Michael (Carol) Bailey, Gotha, FL, Tamera Bailey, Clewiston, FL.; Eight grandchildren: Melissa (Patrick), Ryan (Tashanya), Frankie (Frances), Chelsey (Anton), Ashley, Kevin, Stephen, Courtney; six great grandchildren: Patrick Jr. , Calvin, Saniya, Leo, Ambur, Sheria; Surviving sisters: Dollean (Hoyt deceased) Stevens, Athens, GA, Reasie (Terry) Hollis, Augusta, GA; eleven deceased siblings; sister-in-laws: Mary Ann (Curtis deceased) Daniellesville, GA; brother-in-laws: Conyus (Louise deceased) Atlanta, GA, Charles (Hilda deceased) Morris, Louisville, KY, Melvin (Chris) Morris, Lithonia, GA, Rebecca (Pete) Scott, Daniellesville, GA, May Dillard (John) Gaines, Commerce, GA; Bonus children: Queenie (Red) Williams and family, Patricia McLaurin, Kendrick Butler (nephew), Brian Thomas, Willie Lee, Inda and Eddie Harper; Special Godchildren: The Boyds, The Vickers, The Ricketts, and The Harts. He also leaves two special friends Moses Williams and Bro. Moyne Perkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was my 2nd father who also poured words if wisdom into the life of me and my family. Him and Mrs Bailey open their arms of friendship to my dad Mr. Moses and welcomed him into their home and I will always treasure the good times they shared together.
