I grew up in Benbow with Aunt Rene, she was always a bright light with a smile and the question a chubby little boy love to hear, "are you hungry". I spent so many days watching her sit under the cool oak trees using bit and pieces of cloth to make a quilt. Unfortunately, my memories of Aunt Rene are rooted in the past because I move across the country and it has been decades since I was in Florida. We last saw each other at my mother's funeral in 2013 and she gave me a hug and said, "be sure to get food before you go". A caring soul even in her grief. She was loved and she will be missed

To My Family, I send my deepest condolences to you all. Remembering Aunt Rene and her spirit. Growing up was such a joy knowing that her wittiness could bring a child so much joy. Closing my eyes I can still see and hear her laughter. Thank you to our Heavenly Father for allowing such a beautiful spirit to be apart of our lives. To my cousins, my prayers are with you all. To daddy.. I love you past heaven. Blessings and love each of you. Mom thought the world of all of you and often spoke of you all.
