Jermaine James Knowles (AKA) “J.J.” or “Maine” was born February 21, 1989 at 12:53 am to Angela N. Carter and Ervin A. Knowles in Pahokee, Florida. He received his education through the Palm Beach County School District where he found his first love of drumming. He was a member of Lake Shore Middle and Glades Central High School Band. Jermaine graduated from Glades Central Community High School in 2007. Jermaine moved to West Palm Beach, FL in 2008, which he lived until his sunset. Jermaine was preceded in death by (2) Grandmothers, Annie Eliza Wicker and Maxine Knowles; (2) Grandfathers James R. Wicker and Richard Knowles; (1) Brother Harrington R. Fuller Jr; (1) Aunt Francina Harrison-Henry; and (1) Uncle William P. Kosh. Jermaine leaves to cherish precious memories his loving, devoted and dedicated mother Angela Carter and father Ervin A. Knowles; Devoted daughter, Ja’Dasia Knowles; Second mother, Paula Knowles; (6) Sisters Anga’Neka L.P. Carter, Phylisia and Marissa Knowles, Arielle James, Katrina Byons and Tasharra Hill; (2) Brothers Markese G. Betanzos and Jacory D. Carter; (1) Grandfather Gregory Jakes; (2) Grandmothers, Beverly Scurry and Jennifer Louis; (1) Great Grandmother, Pauline Shannon; (4) Aunts Trina Jakes, Niecy Knowles, Marie Knowles and Deborah Paige; (3) Uncles Brian Knowles (Ashley), Gregory Jakes, Rondall Turner, A special Godmother, Phyllis Blackman; (2) Special friends, Sheila Littlejohn and Rashaad Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, special aunts, uncles and cousins.
