Tameria Fitzgerald affectionately known as “Shawn” was born in Pahokee, FL on January 10, 1972 to Dorothy Myrick Sistrunk and the late Clarence Fitzgerald. Shawn was educated in the local elementary and middle schools and graduated from Glades Central High School Class of 1990. After graduating from high school, she was employed at Duda & Son, Pahokee Nursing, U-Save Groceries and Glades General Hospital. She enjoyed talking with her. She enjoyed talking with her family and friends and watching television.

To celebrate, reflect and cherish her memories, she leaves to mourn her devoted children: Jimmerial Gray, Jonterial Simmons, Keonte Simmons and her baby boy Jontavis Simmons; Mother Dorothy Sistrunk and Leroy Sistrunk affectionately called “Daddy Roy”, Grandmother: Mary Frances Fitzgerald: Grandchildren: Jamaurion Thompson, Ja’Riyah Folmar, Jermaurion Folmar: Siblings: Lemanuel Fitzgerald(Gail), Tenisha Myrick (preceded her in death), Lavelle Perdue, Jermaine Fitsgerald, Sharonda Wade, Tarence Brown and Darius Brown. Two nieces she reared as her own; Ly’Brittany Hamilton and Breanna Myrick. A host of sorrowing families: Myrick’s, Fitsgerald’s, Simmons, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins and friends. Best Friends; Natoria Jones-Gray and Tina Jenkins-Shelton (preceded her in death); Goddaughters: Anajiah Graham & Treasure Matthews.
