SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Funeral Services for Pastor Leonard G. Bland
With humble submission to the will of Almighty God, we announce that funeral services for Pastor Leonard G. Bland will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church, located at 12262 Salem Church Road, King George, VA 22485. A public viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service, as family and friends gather in love and remembrance to honor a life well lived in faithful service to the Lord. Rev. Kevin Lomax will serve as Eulogist, bringing words of comfort and hope from the Holy Scriptures.
A repast will follow the service and will be held at the church, where fellowship will continue in the spirit of Christian love.
Interment will take place in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, as we commit his earthly body to rest, trusting in God’s promise of eternal life.

With hearts full of sorrow yet anchored in the hope of God’s promises, we announce the passing of Pastor Leonard Bland, the beloved and esteemed Pastor of the Salem Baptist Church in King George, VA who entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced when finalized. We humbly ask that you keep the Bland family and the Salem Baptist Church family lifted in your thoughts and prayers as we trust God for comfort, peace, and strength during this season of loss.

Sending condolences and prayers to the family of Pastor Leonard Bland. My heart was saddened when I heard of the passing. We worked at Dahlgren, VA together for years in the same building/department.
