In Loving Memory of Thurman Lee Mitchell, aka “T”

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Thurman Lee Mitchell, affectionately known as “T.”

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.

“T” was a truly remarkable man whose life was a blessing to so many. He was one of the kindest people we had the privilege of knowing, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, and be there whenever he was needed. His quiet strength, generous heart, and willingness to serve made him an inspiration to everyone around him.

Before his health failed, “T” was a huge staple behind the scenes at Campbell Funeral Home, faithfully helping in countless ways without seeking recognition or praise. Much of what he did may not have been seen by everyone, but his presence, dedication, and helping hands made a lasting difference. He gave of himself because that was simply who he was.

We thank God for the gift of his life, for the memories he leaves behind, and for every life he touched along the way. Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort in knowing that “T” has finished his earthly journey and has gone home to be with the Lord.

The Bible reminds us: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21

We are not only mourning the loss of a friend and faithful servant—we are mourning the loss of our brother. T was family and we loved him dearly.

He was a cherished and valued member of the Campbell Funeral Home team. His dedication, kindness, and love for others made him an invaluable part of our Campbell Funeral Home family. His presence will be deeply missed, and his legacy of love and service will forever remain in our hearts.
