With humble hearts and abiding faith in God, we announce the Homegoing Celebration of Mr. William E. Brown, Jr. also known as “Smokey”
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at:
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church
269 James Wharf Road
White Stone, Virginia
Pastor Gernard Reed, Pastor and Eulogist.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Mr. Brown, we do so with the assurance that earthly sorrow is not the end of the story. We trust in the promises of our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and will provide strength, comfort, and peace to those who mourn.
