Deacon Annie Mildred Walker Oliver, born February 11, 1942 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, born to Ann Walker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Walker; four siblings; her husband, Charlie William Oliver and granddaughter, Angela Walker.
Deacon Annie M. Oliver was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church #1 since a young age. Serving as a clerk for 24 years, a Missionary, Usher and Trustee. She was also a member of the Household of ruth for many years. Annie served as a CNA for 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Eleanor W. Shearin of the home; son, James T. Walker of Arizona; grandchildren, James Walker, Jr. of Arkansas, James Michael Walker of Virginia, Amy Sherain of Virgina, Christian Walker of Paris France; great-grandchildren, Danella Davis of Norfolk, Daniel Shearin of Virginia, Eva and Rallie of Paris France, Sierra and James Walker of Arkansas, Kamilla Walker, Faith Burgen of South Carolina; a devoted sister-in-law, Barbara Oliver; devoted nephew, Winston Taylor of Maryland and a vast number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 12 Noon at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church #1; Clarksville, Virginia. Reverend Albert Walker will deliver the eulogy.

Well Aunt Anna Mary, we will miss you. You were always a guiding light when we came to visit. Joesph enjoyed visiting with you when he moved to the Carolinas. While your passing is sad, it is also a happy one because you are forever with Cool Granny, Aunt El, Uncle Doc, your Beloved Charlie and so many more. You were an inpiration to so many and you touched the heart of everyone you met. We are blessed and forver loved just because you were in our lives. Enjoy this new journey you have transitioned into. We love you!!
Sweet Lady! One thing for certain, she'll be missed by family and the Cedar Grove #1 church family. Prayers are lifted for the family.
