Bernice Jones Harrison
Bernice Jones Harrison was born on May 12, 1949 in Mecklenburg County to the parents of Catherine Pulliam and John C. Jones. She was brought up in the church and loving God. As she got older, she accepted God as her personal Lord and Savior.
Bernice worked at Russell Stover Candies, Inc. And Burlington Industries, Inc., Clarksville, Virginia. She worked at these places for a number of years. She later went to work at Wal-Mart in South Hill, Virginia as a Greeter. Wherever she went, everybody loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Davis and her husband, Abraham L. Harrison.
She leaves to cherish her memories; two children, Shirelle (Anthony) Bullock, Christopher Harrison (Zykera Wardrick); two grandchildren, Kalenia Alexander, Jazavair Alexander; one sister, Bertha (Odell) Oliver; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thanks to all of her caregivers.
Bernice was a light unto everybody’s path. She always made you laugh and smile.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Pulliam Family Cemetery, 4480 Highway 92, Chase City, Virginia 23924.

We talk everyday until her health fail and she wasn't able to talk.Bernice was humorous,outspoken, kindhearted.she had a beautiful anointed voice for singing . I knew Bernice and she and I would always have a long conversation at Walmart. Shocked at her passing She will be missed Prayers and condolences to the family. R.I.P. My friend.
