Obituary For Brenda Wynn

Brenda Jean Wynn, age 61, departed this life at VCU Hospital in South Hill, Virginia on November 10, 2022. She was born January 11, 1961 to the late George and Victoria Wynn in Baskerville, Virginia. At an early age, she was baptized and joined Venture Grove Baptist Church. Brenda attended the Mecklenburg County Public School and graduated from Bluestone High School in June 1979. After graduation, she relocated to Washington, DC and started work in the office of the FBI. She also worked a variety of other jobs before returning home in 1996 to care for her mom. She enjoyed playing games on her cell phone and loved her dog, Boise, and her cats. Brenda was preceded in death by her father George Wynn, her mother Victoria Hayes Oliver, her step father, Floyd Oliver, and her great niece, Shy’Loh Hayes. She leaves to mourn her passing one sister, Joyce Wynn, of Boydton, Virginia, step sister Shenita Baskerville of New York. Three nieces, Victoria Wynn of Chase City, Imani Wynn and Mikelia Wynn of Boydton, Virginia. Five great nephews Marcus, Nolan, Ashton, Cayson and Jo’Siah. One aunt Lottie McDonald of Newark, NJ and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Service to be held at a later date. Carter's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
