Obituary For Clarence Gregory
Clarence Gregory was born March 19, 1953 to the late Agnes Hogue Harris in Mecklenburg County. Clarence gained his heavenly wings on August 16, 2025 at VCU Hospital after battling cancer.
Early in life, he joined the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He later met and married Sherry Gregory and to this union, two stars were born.
He was preceded in death by his mother Agnes Harris, stepfather George Harris, sister Helen Wright, and a brother, Lawrence Gregory.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories a wife Sherry Gregory, daughter Lisa Gregory (Bryan), son Clarence Gregory sister Mary Burwell(Jim) a loving mother- in-law Delories Williams (Leroy), Four grandchildren Destiny Smith, Jermaine Smith, Demarc Oliver, Michael Daye and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 30,2025 at 1:00PM at the chapel of Carter’s Funeral Home; 206 Virginia Avenue; Clarksville, Virginia 23927.
