Obituary For Daile Mosley

Ms. Daile Brown Osborne Mosley departed this life on July 22, 2026 in Garner, North Carolina. Daile was born on June 10, 1950 to the late Charlie Osborne and Ruth Elizabeth Barnes Osborne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Flossie Barnes, Elizabeth Lester, Esther Walker, Josephine Coleman, Charlene Osborne, Margarettus Walker and her brother, Wallace Osborne.

She was educated in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. She had been employed at Jonbil, Mfg., Russel Stover’s, Sherwood Foods and a Personal Care Attendant. Daile was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church #1, serving as Sunday School Secretary, member of the Missionary Circle, Usher Board and Choir.

Among those left to cherish her loving memories are; her son, Chester L. Osborne of Garner, NC; two daughters, Michele O. Brown (Lennis) of Capital Heights, MD, Donna J. Mosley of Chase City; grandchildren, Donovan Mosley, DayVon Mosley, Markell Johnson, Derek Osborne, Yolanda Brown, LeNeice Brown, Christina Brown, Rodney Jones, Demetrius Osborne; sister, Annie R. Osborne of Washington, DC; honorary grandchildren, Cindy Bouldin, Kavontae Elam, Deandre Fields, Treyvon Foster, LaDarius Hargrove, Charnette Herndon, Jala Brown, Lennis J. Brown; twenty-six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 2:00PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church #1.
