Diana Marie Ballard passed away on October 13, 2025 in Virginia at the age of 51 surrounded by her chosen family, including her safe place (Katie, Timmy, Layla, and Terri Wright) as well as her high school and life long best friend, Chris Mann.
Diana was born on July 11, 1974 to Russell Noel and Mary Cecile (McKinney) Males in Jackson, Mississippi. She was the youngest of seven.
After many years of hardship, Diana got her CDL in Mississippi. She started her driving career in 2017. That year, she gained a whole new family; her brothers and sisters of the highway. Diana drove from coast to coast, border to border. She took a lot of pride in her job as a commercial truck driver. After 8 years of driving, she ended her career at Bottomley Enterprises. After all those years of feeling stuck, she found a sense of purpose in her life.
Although her job meant a lot to her, Diana always said her greatest accomplishments were her girls, Christa and Michelle. She was so proud of the life accomplishments they made, whether it was career choice or motherhood. Diana thought she was too young to be a grandmother, but she warmed up to it pretty quickly. Hearing how her grandchildren were thriving brought a lot of joy to her. Hearing the giggles and laughter over the phone always brightened her day, no matter how bad it was. All she ever wanted was for her girls and grandbabies to be happy in life.
No matter where she went, she carried her family with her. It didn’t matter what happened between her and her siblings, she loved them through it all. That love eventually extended to her best friends she met while driving. One thing was for certain, Diana loved those near and dear to her with a fierceness unlike any other.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Russell Males, first husband Chris Nash, brothers Dan Moody, Derrell Hollingsworth, and Chris Chrismond.
She is survived by her daughter Christa Stoliby and husband David of Stratford, Oklahoma; daughter Michelle Garner of Florence, Mississippi; grandchildren Graysen Stoliby, Fallon Klabunde, Delilah Stoliby, Lydia Stoliby; brother Rodney Moody of Richland, Mississippi; sisters Gail Garner of Florence, Mississippi, Mary Aycock of Brandon, Mississippi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rest in peace “Jax”, we’ve got the loads from here.

Jax touched many people, online and in person. I did not get the opportunity to meet her. I did look forward to her video's. Jax was pure and genuine, and for that she was loved by many. R.I.P DIANA "JAX" BALLARD ❤ YOU ARE MISSED DEARLY
Jax is as a special person, and as most will agree an Outspoken and Fiercely Independent Lady... and to those who had the opportunity to get past the Wall, a deeply loyal and caring Lady. She silently stood up for me during a hard time and behind the scenes gave words of encouragement. I was deeply grateful for those times and small conversations. It broke me to learn of her passing and the thought of her being right where she wanted to be til the end is a comfort to know she was among the people she was loved by the most. I will alway hear her voice in my head & heart as a beacon to Right or Wrong "Fuckin' Really Danny?!?" Jax, you are the Big Sister every Driver needed and a voice that said that Quiet thing Outloud, and We loved you for it. My Condolences to the Family who saw her through it all and hopefully in the end we'll meet again.

Did not know Jax but I followed her on Tiktock and enjoyed seeing her videos she told it exactly like it should be and didn't hold back . Rest in Peace . prayers for the family and close friends of Jax

I didn't know Jax that well but she was a sister of the highway. And as a fellow Mississippian, our virtues for family and friends run deep. I met Jax through her videos on TikTok, never actually met her in person. But I enjoyed her videos long before I met her friends and family of the highway, Ali Snow, Stacie Rude, and Katie Wright. She was an empowering woman, surrounded by empowering women. Rest easy Jax, where those wheels in the sky keep on turning! With all my sympathy, Phoenix_storm21

Diana (Jax) you were a special person. You loved life and your children/grandchildren. Your sassy attitude made you who you were. I enjoyed our conversations on the phone. I will miss you deeply and dearly. I'm glad Cowboy (DJ) and I got the opportunity to meet you at the TA in Wildwood. It was brief as you had to get on down to Orlando to load.
