Obituary For Henry Clay, Sr.
Mr. Henry Lee Clay, Sr., departed this life at his residence on March 3, 2025. Henry was born on March 11, 1944 to the late, William Henry Clay and Hattie Terry Clay. Henry was a native of Mecklenburg County, Virginia.
Henry received his education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools. He enjoyed fishing and he had a real good hand at being a carpenter. Henry loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed life and laughter.
Henry leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Margaret Terry Clay; daughters, Lucinda, Freda (Dallas), Mary Linda (Thomas); sons, Shaun (Charlene), Henry, Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Carter's Funeral Home Chapel., 206 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA 23927.
