Obituary For Wayne Coleman

Wayne Sylvester Coleman, son of Arthur Sylvester Coleman of Glenn Arden MD and the late Doris Loraine Coleman of Chase City VA was born on May 7, 1969 in Glen Arden Maryland.

He was called home on February 12, 2024 at the age of 54.

Wayne was born and raised in Maryland. He attended school in Maryland. In 1985 he moved to Virginia with his parents.

Wayne loved to cook, go fishing, cut hair, and play the drums. He joined Amazing Bibleway and played the drums.

Wayne was a gentle giant and after the passing of his mother in November 2022 he was deeply affected. He would often say that he was going to be with her. He is now at peace with her. He will be missed by so many.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Coleman, grandparents, 12 uncles, and 3 aunts.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father Arthur of the home, Aunts: Patricia Coleman of MD , Mary (Charlie) Darden of Clarksville VA, Joyce (Alvin) Johnson of Annapolis, MD, Regina Roberts of Forestville, MD and Cheryl Roberts of South Hill, VA and Helen Marshall of Forestville, MD Uncles; Robert Coleman, James Coleman, of MD and Larry “Shorty” Coleman of GA. and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Wayne Coleman will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00PM at the Amazing Bibleway Church; 2835 Highway 58; Buffalo Junction, Virginia 24529 with Bishop Ray T. Stephens, Pastor, Eulogist.
