Obituary For Edward St. Julian

Reverend Edward St. Julian was the second oldest child born to Edward St. Julian, Sr. and Theola McNeil. He was born September 11, 1951. Edward was raised by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed McNeil in Meridian, Mississippi. Edward departed this life with his wife at his side on July 4, 2019. Edward was predeceased in death by his parents, grandparents and his brother, Bobby St. Julian. Edward began his academic endeavors in Mississippi and completed high school at Boys High in Brooklyn, New York in 1970. He joined the United States Army in 1972 where he served as a Court Reporter and Chaplain’s Assistant until his honorary discharge in 1984. Edward relocated to California where he met the love of his life, Donna Lee Price and married her on November 7, 1987. To this union two daughters were born, Brittney Cassandra and Tatyana Ashley St. Julian. He was baptized at an early age. Edward began his Theology education at Ecumenical Center in Los Angeles, California. He also attended Golden State Theology School and the University of LaVerne where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Theology in September 1999. The first church he pastored was New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Perris, California and the last church he pastored was Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church in Tarboro, NC from September 2003 to March 2006. Edward leaves to mourn his wife of 32 years, Donna Lee Price St. Julian; daughters, Brittney (of the home) and Tatyana (Raleigh, NC); sisters, Gloria St. Julian (Norwalk, CA) and Linda Thomas (Meridian, MS); brother, Richard Stephenson (CA); brothers-in-law, Steven Stanley (Siler City NC), Wesley Stanley (Damita) of Gardena, CA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Houston (Sanford, NC) and Joyce Stanley (Sanford, NC); his favorite niece, Kimaja Stanley, who assisted with his care on many occasions and a host of other relatives and friends.
