Lester's Life Lester was born on April 21, 1958, the fifth of six children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine, his father, Chester and his oldest brother, Marion aka "Sonny". Lester was a kind, generous, gentle and godly man. He was a wonderful brother and a true friend. He is survived by his sister, Ella (Marvin); his brother, Chester; his sister Freida (Clarence) and his brother, Leonard (Darlene) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends, some since childhood. Lester is also survived by his friend, Donna Jenkins and her daughters Mya and Jada who were special in his life. Lester is sorely missed by his surviving siblings. He will live on in our hearts forever. Lester was an active member of St. Mark's Methodist Church in Daleville, MS. Lester loved his church family. Lester graduated from Vocational-Technical High School in Minneapolis in 1976. He worked for Tool Products Company in Minneapolis, MN for 24 years. He moved to Meridian, MS in the early 2000s and lived there for 17 years, Lester passed suddenly in his home on May 26, 2020 in Meridian. He was an avid sports fan, loved the Vikings and the Twins and attended games whenever he was home. He followed and rooted for his teams like a true fan, always wearing his team gear on game days and non-game days. The family deeply appreciates your expressions of sympathy and your prayers.
