My Condolences to the family. Dwight was a dear friend. He will be missed.
I pray comfort for the family. I will always remember our friendship, badgering of one another and the way we perturbed one another to both our wits end. I'll see you on the other side.
I have known Dwight "Cal" when I was 15 yrs old. Grew up calling him my Big Brother. It's hard to believe the Lord called you home. My Sincere and Deepest Condolences to your entire family. I will continually cover your family in prayer. 🙏🏽💔
Dwight and I were teammates at DSU and remained friends our entire lives. He and I shared the same passion for helping children to build a great life through education. He was the referee between Kelly Causey and I for countless good natured Facebook battles. He reached unbelievable career achievements and always held firm to his religious convictions. He is an encouraging friend and I will miss our conversations. Rest well my good friend! You are my forever brother.
Many condolences to Dwight's family and friends.
Dwight and I were best friends. Friday night before he passed, he called to see how I was doing since the death of my son Dee. The first thing out his mouth would be "Hey Miller".....When I received the phone call from his sister, letting me know that "Cal" passed away, it was overwhelming and hurt so deep. I will miss his call, laughter, lunch/dinner dates. He promised that he would be part of our 40th class reunion planning and more so, my partner/date for the reunion. Although I will miss him dearly, I know that his health was failing him. Therefore, I thank God for opening the gates of heaven for him where he will not have to deal with sickness anymore and the burdens of this world is no more.
May the lord continue to give his family strength, as well as his three children, whom he talked about so often.
Rest easy my friend, Rest easy...Hallelujah!!!..Amen Sincerely, Opal "Cookie" Miller
