Obituary For Johnnie Sheppard, Jr.
Mr. Johnnie Sheppard Jr., age 82, of Blakelyville Road earned his Heavenly Wings On November 4, 2025; surrounded by his loved ones.
Johnnie will be missed by his wife of over 64 years Ida Smiley Sheppard; his daughters: Vallet Hymes (Leroy), Vellet Dogan(Robert), Bonnie Jones (Larry) and Tamiko Hendrickson; 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and close friends.
A Memorial Service was held on November 10, 2025 in the Childs Funeral Home Chapel.
The entire family is grateful for all the love and support that was shown. Please continue to pray for the healing for those that loved him dearly.
