Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Burnside - Jenkins, 89, of East Ferguson Street Clinton,SC; earned her Heavenly Wings on June 23, 2026. She was surrounded by her loved ones at The Hospice of Laurens.

Mrs. Mary Jenkins was raised and educated in Laurens County. She went on to complete her RN Degree at the Bellevue College of Nursing. We are thankful for her service in the Air Force as a Flight Nurse Captain. She was also a member of the Friendship AME Church family.

Those that will carry on her love and memories include her husband of 42 years; Mr. Willie Lee Jenkins of the home; sister Joyce Payne of Greenville and many other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of her life will be held 2:00PM - THURSDAY - JULY 2, 2026 FRIENDSHIP AME CHURCH 1118 SOUTH BELL STREET. CLINTON SC

INTERMENT: ORCHARD PARK MEMORIAL GARDENS 200 APPLE ORCHARD RD CLINTON SC

The family will accept visitors at the home of Andrea Barksdale : 122 East Bluford Ext. Clinton.
