Obituary For Otis Pyles

Mr. Otis Pyles, age 96, was rewarded with the ticket on the train headed to Heaven. On December 7, 2024; He passed peacefully at the National Healthcare of Laurens.

Those that have loved and cherished him are his children: Otis (Deloisa) L.Pyles Jr.of Joanna, SC, Harold (Tina) Pyles of Mountville, SC, Annie Bell Pyles, and Lucille (Randy) P. Vance of Mountville, SC, reared in the home Granddaughter Terase Pyles and Great granddaughter Eboney Pyles both of Mountville, SC, a sister Thelma P. Young of Clinton SC; Hilery Pyles of Clinton, SC. Walter Glen Pyles of Mountville, SC. JC (Anna) Pyles of Waterloo, SC and Calvin Pyles of Bronx, NewYork. 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and countless other loving relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life was held on December 13,2024 in the Childs Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Otis Plyes final resting place is in the New Hope AME Church Cemetery, Mountville SC

Times like these bring back fond memories. I remember when uncle Otis would cut the grass at the church and often times he would come down to the house to holler at us or we would go out and holler at him. I believe once we caught him he had fallen asleep on the truck bed. When I think of those times, it makes me smile. Rest in peace uncle Otis.
