Reverend Dr. Richard L. Sadler, Sr. was a man who could see beyond our individual faults to celebrate the good to which we might aspire. I carry fond memories of him when I was a child growing up in the 60s, as a teen in the 70s, and as an adult in the 80s. He was the steady, stalwart husband, father, and leader who saw us through difficult times without complaint or remorse. Rest, Rev. Dr. Sadler, in the peace that you so richly deserve!

We are All Family in the sight of our Father God in heaven. Reverend Sadler used his God given gifts to inspire us like so many others. Fostering goodwill, wisdom, laughter, and discipline to so many. He's watched our family grow physically and spiritually. Our families share many milestones besides our relationship with Christ. Ms Sadler, the TWINS and Eggie share December 19th birthdates. He and James share birthdates in February. He and Ms Sadler were bedrocks for our marriage. He baptized Trey. That was as big a day for Trey as it was for everyone. We remember performing with Wofford College's Gospel Choir singing at the church. Also Eggie and I being honored to "We Shall Behold Him". We could go on for months about the Lyles, Staggs, Kelley family connections with him and the family. We know by way of the Holy Spirit, his presence will continue to provide guidance m, even now. We are Thankful and grateful to continue be in the Grace of our Lord and Savior. As always, we are here for you. Just a prayer away (which is quicker than a phone call).
