Allen Hayes was born on August 8, 1965, to Earlie Hayes and Lonnie Mae Craig in Ashland, Alabama. He married Danette Barber on August 6, 1988. Allen, was a devoted family man, a passionate fisherman, and a loyal football fan, proudly cheering on the Crimson Tide—Roll Tide! His love for life, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family touched all who knew him, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
Allen, earned his MBA from the prestigious College of William & Mary, proudly graduating in May of 2023. He was also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., embodying the values of brotherhood, leadership, and service throughout his life.
A hard worker and a man of integrity, Allen dedicated his life to providing for and supporting his loved ones. He was always ready to offer advice, lending an empathetic ear and sharing his wisdom with anyone who sought it.
His kindness, generosity, and commitment to his family will be remembered by everyone whose lives he touched.
In addition to his parents, Allen was proceeded in eternal rest by his brothers, James Hayes, Alkerry Hayes, Almond Lee Hayes, Billy Ray Hayes, Tommy Hayes, sisters, Mary Gaddis and Eula Gaddis.
He is survived by his wife Danette Hayes, St. Augustine, FL, his daughters Amaris Hayes, St. Augustine, FL; and Asia Hayes, St. Louis, MO, who will carry his legacy forward with love and gratitude. Allen is also survived by his brother, Michael Hayes, Oxford, AL; sisters, Earline Street, Ashland, AL; Inez Smiley, Ashland, AL, Martha (Earl) Johnson, Millerville, AL; and Gay Dean Maxwell, Birmingham, AL, godson, Ian Fitzhough, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
