A time to be born: June 25, 1959
and a time to die: September 3, 2025.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of Hastings, FL, graduating from Hastings High School, Class of 1977. She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where she served as member of the Combined Choir, Kitchen Ministry and Women’s Ministry. She was employed for 38 years as a CNA at St. Augustine Health and Rehabilitation Center until her declining health. She enjoyed shopping after work and spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her daughter: Kellie Williams, grandson: Derrick Young, Jr., mother: Geneva Williams, grandmother: Tessie Chestnut Evans, grandfather: James Evans, uncle: Randall Chestnut, sister: Angela Bush, brother-in-law: Kyra Ferrell.
She leaves to mourn, grandsons: Lil Larry Sessions, Jr. and Kyrie Williams. Sisters: Rhoda Ferrell, Ollie King, Cassandra Williams and Katrina Williams (James Johnson. Like a sister: Berenda Vickers. Brothers: Lavern Williams, Donald (India) Williams and Darian Williams. Uncle: Joseph (Sherlithia) Chestnut. Like mothers: Justine Moore and Earlene Jones. A host of special friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends (too numerous to name without missing someone).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 317 Daniels Street, Hastings, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church
Interment will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery.
