Obituary For Constance Murray

Constance “Connie” Murray, 58, of Hastings, FL was born on September 10, 1961 to George & Juanita Murray in St. Augustine, FL. Constance received her education in the St. Johns County School District where she later graduated with the class of 1979 from Hasting High School. Subsequently, after receiving her High School Diploma, Connie enrolled in Bethune Cookman University. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Armstrong under the leadership of the late Rev. Alphonso Harvey. On Saturday, February 1, 2020, Constance “Connie” Murray transitioned from this life to her eternal life at the Bailey Hospice Center.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in eternal rest by her sister, Kim Johns; and nephew, Samuel Johns, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her many fond memories; her loving and devoted husband, Damon Robinson; son, Damon Robinson, Jr.; grandson, Damarion Robinson; sisters, Linda (Willie) Clemons, Tracy Murray, Irma Murray, Shaunte (Mose) King, and Koscina Dennis; brothers, Keith Murray and Gary Murray; aunts, Edith Harris, Peggy Joiner, and Margaret Murray; uncle, Gene Murray; nieces, Brynn Murray, Ebony Felder, April Felder, Brittany Murray; a host of cousins and extended family.

The viewing will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Coleman’s Mortuary Family Chapel. The Homegoing Celebration will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Harvest Time Evangelistic Ministry, Elder Christopher T. Coleman, Pastor.
