Obituary For Dorrion McKinnon, Jr.

Dorrion was born on January 6, 2007, to the parents of Tametrius Ann Green and Dorrian McKinnon, Sr. From his early childhood, Dorrion had a funny and comical personality. He was the life of the party. Dorrion attended VPK at Mosley Elementary, and later attended Mellon and Kelly Smith Elementary schools. Dorrion transferred to CL Overturf Center and later Palatka Jr/Sr High School. He last attended the Hope Center where he was in the 11th grade. Dorrion loved to play sports and participated in AYF Football (Bulldogs and Mighty Ducks). He played football at Palatka Jr/Sr High School, and he played Basketball for PAL. Dorrian loved to spend time with family, he liked to dance and rap. He cared for his chickens and goat. Dorrion professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Calvary Missionary Baptist Church on February 27, 2022. He was Baptized on May 15, 2022. He attended regularly and participated in the youth ministry. Dorrion is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Deloris Green; Grandfather, James Andrew Faison; Aunt, Krystal Faison; and Godfathers, Keith Williams and Jimmy Deleon. He leaves to cherish his memories: Mother, Tametrius Ann Green; Father, Dorrion McKinnon, Sr., Brothers: B’Jayvious Fowler and Damarrion McKinnon; Sisters, Tametria Green and Jaemariah Heyward; all of Palatka FL; Grandmother, Aretha Faison; Grandfather, Jerry Green; and Great-Grandmother, Christa Faison; Aunt, Shalawn McGee; Uncles: Joey (Melba) McGee, Terry Green; God-sisters: Lakeisha Session, Mercedes Cooper, Keonna Brinson, Tykia Turner; God-brothers: Andrew Jelks, Ernest McCracken, Keith Williams, Jr., Deontre Willis; God-parents: Jameila James, Pamela Willis and Loretha (Van) McCracken; Like A Sister: Gabrielle Hines and Allaniyah Hendrith; Mentor: Melissa Rea; Best Friends: Cartavian Valentine, Jaquaill Hunter, Travis Kemps, Jr., Isiah Burgess, Montrell Willis and Adarion Stewart; a host of cousins and sorrowing friends who loved him dearly.

The McKinnon-Green Family will receive friends and the community on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Calvary Family Life Center in Palatka, FL from 6:00p.m.-7:00p.m. The Life Celebration will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Calvary Family Life in Palatka, FL. The final resting site will be Oak Hill - West Cemetery in Palatka, FL.
