Obituary For Eugene Flagler

Eugene "Spike" Flagler, Jr., 79, of Elkton, Florida (native of St. Stephen, South Carolina) was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1941 in Kingstree, South Carolina to Eugene and Mary Flagler. On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Eugene left this life and entered into his eternal life like a dove that flew out to find another land.

In addition to his parent’s death, he was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Daniel Flagler, Sr., and sister, Roberta Flagler.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Annie Bell Flagler; sons, Eugene (Olivia) Flagler, Linny (Penesa) Hayward, Walter Jones, William Jones, Michael Flagler, Trenard Williams, Damon Flagler, Sr., Clifton Flagler, Galvin Boynton; daughters, Stella (Darnell) Brown, Latesia (Gregory) Williams, Ramonica (Jimmie) Flagler Robinson, Shanterra Flagler, Sofia Flagler; sisters, Lila Mae (Leroy) Ravenell, Elreta Jones; brother, John (Edith) Flagler; aunt, Georgia Wilson; seventy-five grandchildren; Sister-in-Laws, Sissy Williams, Rosetta Williams, Juanita Williams, Annie Rose Flagler; brother-in-law, Herman Williams; a host of great – grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Flagler Family will receive extended family and friends from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Coleman’s Mortuary Family Chapel. The Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at The Lord’s Temple City of Refuge, Bishop Thomas Cave III, Pastor and Pastor Christopher T. Coleman, eulogist. Burial will be in Armstrong Community Cemetery, Elkton, Florida.
