George Aaron Creek affectionately known as “Poppa” was born on October 22, 1960, to James Creek and Gloria Ellis Charles in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the local schools in Florence County and graduated from Job Corp. George “Poppa “was employed by several companies in Florence County and in Collier County communities: United Van Lines, and North American Moving Services. He also worked in construction and rehabilitation centers. Poppa enjoyed life. He enjoyed grilling, dancing (like Michael Jackson), watching Bruce Lee movies, and martial Arts.
George was preceded in eternal rest by his father, James Creek, and his stepfather, Wilson Allen, brothers, Anthony Francis, Ricky Frances
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Nea Tremell (Baron), Kevin Frances, stepsons, Antran McDaniel, Douglas Williams, his mother, Gloria E. Charles-Allen, siblings, James Ellis (Michelle), Rudolph Francis (Crystal) Renee Francis Simon, Evangeline Frances Severe, Robbie Charles (Teresa), stepsisters, Elizabeth Allen and Lisa Allen, stepbrothers, Mike Allen, Earl Allen, granddaughters, Lashanti France, Jaleah Brooks, Myla Glover, grandson, Amir France, also cherishing his memories, Kelly France, and a host of nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
