Harold Felder Jr. was born on April 14, 1950, to Harold and Annie Felder in “Federal Point” East Palatka, Florida. Harold was educated in the Putnam County School District where he would graduate with the class of 1969. After graduation, Harold would then enlist in the United States Army. He would later marry the love of his life, Sylvia Johnson. Harold was a faithful member and usher of his family's home church, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Federal Point under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Butts. Harold served as a Deacon at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in St. Augustine. Harold truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sylvia Felder, daughters, Akethya “Kee” Felder, Nadeen Gibson, Latasha Davis, Pendevu Johnson, son, Sababu (Khaymia) Johnson, brothers, Horace (Gloria) Felder, Tony (Robin) Felder, George Wayne Felder, uncle, William (Loretta) Hardy, aunt, Janie (Charlie) Pepper, sister-in-law, Stacy Felder, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, special friends and neighbors, Tyson and Lauren Shank.
The family will receive friends and the community5-7p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel
A Celebration of life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist church, 4909 St. Johns Ave, Palatka, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor
Interment will be held in Jacksonville National Cemetery
