Obituary For Isaac Beauford

Isaac “Ike” Beauford, 73, of East Palatka, Fla entered the sunset of life on Tuesday on October 10, 2023, at Community Hospice & Palliative Care in St. Augustine, Fla. with his youngest daughter Bryanna at his bedside. He was born September 15, 1950, to the late Will & Louisa Beauford in East Palatka, Fla. He attended Central Academy High in Palatka, Fla. Ike worked at Best Packers in Palatka, Fla and retired from Tree of life in St. Augustine, Fla. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on July 23, 2020.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Tommy, WC, Wilie, Curtis, Jerry, Jessie. Sisters: Rutha May, Murline, & Doretha. Also, his beloved daughter, Brittany Lynn Beauford and his best friend and riding partner Randy Pelham. Ike loved fishing, cutting grass & sitting in his garage listening to the music of Jimi Hendrix.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Flora Jean Hardy Beauford of East Palatka, Fla; children: daughters, Bryanna Beauford and Braelynn Willis Beauford, East Palatka, Fla., LaToya Beauford-Myles, Palatka, Fla; son, Steven Johnson, Satsuma, Fla. Sisters: Inez “Shugg” Beauford, Ethel “Moonie” Holcy, Lula Mae Mattear and Christa Bell Beauford Faison. Special niece who was like a daughter, Maryssa Hardy. Mother-in-law, Mary Adkison Williams, East Palatka, Fla and Father-in-law, William (Loretta) Hardy, Palatka, Fla. Sister-in-laws: Deborah Pelham, Hastings, Fla., Cynthia Allen, Jacksonville, Fla., Pamela Brooks, East Palatka, Fla. Brother-in-laws: Gerald (Christine) Hardy, Jacksonville, Fla., William Bernard Hardy, East Palatka, Fla., Kenneth Hardy, Hastings, Fla., Marlon Hardy, Glen Burnie, MD., Lorenzo (Altheia) Holcy, Houston, Tx and Johnnie Holcy, Palatka, Fla.
He also leaves a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and sorrowful friends.

The Beauford family will receive friends and the community 5-6:30 p.m., Friday, October 20, at the Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held graveside Saturday, October 21, at 10:30 a.m., at Pattersonville Cemetery, 207A East Palatka.
