Born November 26, 1953 to Oliver and Nita Washington in St. Augustine, Florida. She attended R.J. Murray High school and graduated class of 1973. She later became a member of Zion Baptist Church. She worked many years at Grumman. She also was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant caring for patients with healthcare needs and assisting with daily activities. Jacqueline loved to crochet, cook and go fishing. Her passion for singing landed her in the choir guild. She loved and adored her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Streeter; brothers, John Wahsington, Robert Washington, Oliver Washington Jr. and James “Jitty” Washington.
Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Monty Duncan, Herbert (Gala) Duncan and Myles (LaQueta) Duncan; like-children, Kerison and Eric Arroyo; brother, Tony (Sandra) Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and caring friends.
The family will receive the community from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church - 94 Evergreen Avenue St. Augustine, Florida 32084 - Rev. Sam James, Pastor.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
