Obituary For Jasper Smith
Jasper Kelvin Smith was born on June 29, 1957, to James Smith and Lucy Munnerlyn in Palatka, Florida. He attended school in St. Johns and Putnam County. Jasper would marry his sweetheart Shriley Jackson, and to this union four children were born. Jasper worked at CSX for 15 years and PTI for 10 years. He also worked for Robbie Burke for three years. Jasper loved farming, driving trucks, fixing trucks, and shopping at the Flea Market. Jasper was preceded by his parents, James Smith and Luch Munnerlyn, brother, Elbert Harris, sis-in-law, He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shirley Smith, sons, Keith Smith, Kelvin Smith, Antwan Smith (Latoya), Jermaine Smith, Carlos Session, daughter, Shana Smith (Ricky Mack), brother, James Smith (Dotty), nieces, Talonda Wesley, Lashonda Jackson, Tara Smith, nephews, Marquise Jackson, Elbert Harris Jr., Elvin Harris, Lamar Harris, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 13, @ The Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel, 139 N. Main St, Hastings
Celebration of Life: 11 a.m., Saturday, December 14, @ The Lord's Temple Church, 140 Gilmore St, Hastings
Interment will be held in Armstrong Cemetery
