Obituary For Johnny Sparrow

Johnny Sparrow, “Booster” 78 of St. Augustine, Florida transitioned on September 13, 2020 at Community Hospice Bailey Family Center, following a brief illness. Mr. Sparrow was born November 9, 1941 to the late Ned and Willie Mae Sparrow. He was educated in the St. Johns County School District and was of the Baptist faith. Johnny Sparrow was the last of nine siblings with only one sister left: Louise Ford. He will be deeply missed. His favorite chant was “he feels 100 percent.” He loved his daughters and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his Two daughters, Johnnie Mae Sparrow and Gale Sparrow, Sister, Louise Ford, Devoted Nieces, Bernadine Wilcox, and Deborah Reid.

Viewing and service of remembrance will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 6pm at Coleman’s Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Christopher T. Coleman, Eulogist.
