God saw fit to bless this earth with the birth of: Larry Donnell Woodard Jr., 47, on March 19, 1977, in Savannah, GA., to the late Larry Donnell Woodard, Sr., and Faye Lynette Bryant. He grew up in St. Augustine, FL in the Westside neighborhood and received his educational degree, graduating from St. Augustine High School, class of 1995. His acquired nicknames were: Gator, Elmer Fudge, L-Wood, Bubble gum, and dancing Bear. Everyone who knew Larry loved him because he was kind, friendly, free-spirited, humble, very patience, compassionate and a genuinely caring person with a strong sense of humor. Larry really loved people and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends during any occasion. He loved to eat good ole soul food, especially “Sweet Potatoe Pie.” He had a love for animals, and he was a very grateful and forgiving person. His affectionate hugs and kool-aid smile were contagious. And it was natural for him to give you a good compliment. He enjoyed talking with people about any and every topic. Even if it was that, “Lets Go There” conversation, he would do it in love. He was very open-mind and had the “Gift Of Gabs!” But he was a joy to be around. Larry loved music. He started playing drums at the age of 5 years old and continued on into his adult life drumming for various praise teams and at various churches. He loved to dance, dance, dance! At age of seven years old he was the youngest member in his belated cousin, Andre Brown, “Break Dancing Group”. During this same time, he was taught how to do back flips by his uncle Erroll (Pop) and became an expert in back flipping. He was also referred to as the, “Jam Pony King”. Larry was gifted with a natural ability to play sports. Especially football. He was very compassionate about health and fitness. His dream job was to become a “Fitness Trainer”. He wanted to be the owner of his own fitness gym. He loved spending time embracing the outdoors through introspective walks on the beach, photoing scenes of nature, the glorious clouds, the sun, the moon and stars, taking selfies (he was very photogenic), and he loved to photo-bomb your pictures. He was “Mr. Go Live”, because he loved to do live videos. Larry gave his life to the Lord and became a member at Restoration Time Deliverance Center, Apostles Pastors Frank & Belinda Watkins. He had great faith and would always share his testimonies with passion for Christ. He didn't care if he was on the mountain-top or in the valley-low; or, if he met you on the streets or at the corner store, he was going to share with you about the goodness of his GOD. On his face book videos he would often refer to himself as “The Chosen”, or “God's son”. Larry loved his children and all his siblings. He was very grateful to the mother of his children. Larry had a loving relationship and an everlasting bond with his mother, Faye. She was his Queen, his twin and his best friend. Their bond was so close that she was the first family to love on him when he was born and the last family to love & comfort him before his final rest. Larry was a proud father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a grandson, a nephew, and a friend to many. He slept away very peacefully in the early morning hour of Friday, February 7, 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in eternal rest by his Grandfathers: John Woodard Jr.; and Leroy B.
