Marion Brown Jr., was born on December 1, 1945, to Marion Brown Sr., and Bell Jackson Brown. He attended Walter E. Harris High School. Marion was the proud owner of Brown and Son Landscaping. Marion was also a long time foreman with Mr. Randy Byrd Farms. He owned a logging and sod truck, and he was known for “dodging dogs” :), everyone who knows him understands that last part. Marion was a father figure to many, but Silas Green was his favorite.
Marion was preceded in eternal rest by his parents, Marion Brown, Sr. and Bell Jackson Brown, his wife, Joyce Brown, father and mother-in-law, Johnny and Ruby Mae Johnson, brother, Michael James Brown, beloved daughter, Anita Brown Campbell, brothers-in-law, Eugene Anderson and Jessie Johnson, grandson, Cortaiiz Campbell, cousins, Robert Lee and Gloveen Fergurson.

The Brown family will receive friends and the community 6-7 p.m., Friday, April 26, @ The Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, @ Gethsemane MB Church, 317 Daniels St, Hastings. Interment will be held in Palatka Memorial Gardens

To my family. We will miss our father and brother and our uncle He was a man of many qualities. The best memories of Uncle Jr was that old brown truck. He taught me how to drive a stick shift.
