Micheal A Shazel, Sr., 63, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Monday, August 6, 2024,
at his residence 309 Richardson Place #604 Hastings, Fl following a brief illness. A native of
Daytona Beach, he was the son of Jeremiah Shazel and Rosia Dell Evans Shazel, born
October 15, 1960. He was educated in the Volusia County School District and was a 1978
graduate of Eastside High School Gainesville. He has resided in Palatka for over 30 years
and recently relocated to Hastings. Always wearing a smile, and willing to help those in
need, Micheal loved conversing with friends and family, listening to old school music.
Micheal worked for the City of Palatka sanitation Department for 18 years & a part-time
kitchen worker at Corky Bells East Palatka before dealing with health issues. He is
preceded in eternal rest by his beloved Mother and Father Jeremiah Shazel & Rosia Dell
Evans Shazel; material and paternal grandparents, brother Jerry Shazel and Sarah Shazel.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, at The Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel
