There's no words to fully express how fortunate, blessed, & humble I feel that God brought my beloved , loving, thoughtful Uncle Pernell to visit and spend the unselfish time with my mother, his oldest sister , Isabella Raggins (Sister) since she moved back to Florida from up north. I got the privilege to see my uncle Pernell too and his wife Malvinia. He brought and showed a love for his sister Isabella that showed love, care, support, & grace. My mother showed him the same. It was like a gift from God He cast upon us. Uncle Pernell reminded me then that I'm doing good to care for my mother and he is so thankful I sacrificed my life temporarily to help my mom with hers! It brought a smile on his face. He brought my mom and me songs of his he recorded on CD. His singing voice was amazing ! "Jesus is a Friend" was one of the songs he sang. He calm me down in past , when a doctor had to admit my Mom in hospital even though she wanted go home. Uncle Pernell will always be remembered as s man of great Faith and love for God and Gods people; he will be remembered as God's chosen one to express a beacon of light is amongst us in whatever situation we may be in. The light is the path we follow and guide us to a better path. He was my uncle, my mentor, my angel from God. He came to my mother right on time.,,, Praise God! Thank you Rev. Uncle Pernell! Family please don't be dismayed; for Rev. Pernell Raggins has set a mighty wonderful path for us! I will never forget him and I will always love him. Say hello to Aunt Mal for me Uncle Pernell. I miss her always too. Love always your niece, Michele Raggins 💖😇💖😇

It was a great honor to have him as a god father. A Godfather, which Oxford Dictionary defines as "a man who presents a child at baptism and promises to take responsibility for their religious education," or more simply "a man who is influential." Both definitions accurately described my Godfather. I love you and will always miss you Love Butter Ball
To my first cousins, Pernell Jr, Timothy Sr., Tony and our entire family, look to the hills from which cometh our help; which is the Lord who hath made heaven and earth. Sending prayers and sincere condolences 🙏 Minister Sandra Marie Lanier.
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand of my righteousness.
Although you are gone from this side ,I will see you again on the other side for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You are my greatest inspiration to Preach and sing. I will carry you in my heart and you will continue to live through me, your son Timothy Raggins Sr. Love you infinity

On behalf of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist, Hastings, Co-pastor Torrence and myself, I extend our heart-felt condolences to the family of Pastor Raggins. Truly, he was our brother and fellow laborer of the gospel. He was always so supportive of our ministry. Praying God's strength as you face this difficult time.
