Queen Elizabeth McCrae, 67, of Bunnell, Florida, transitioned from this earthly life on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Bunnell, Florida.
She was born on November 25, 1958, in Bunnell, Florida, to Willie J. Brown, Jr. and Betty Jean Brown.
Queen was employed as a Detox Specialist at the Stewart-Marchman Center for over 20 years. She also faithfully served at the Vince Carter Sanctuary for more than 15 years. Queen found great joy in loving on her family, attending church, knitting, gardening, and enjoying basketball and softball.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie J. Brown, Jr.; her brother, Tommy Brown; her nieces, Betty Brown (DeeDee) and Dominisha Brown; and her grandparents, Joseph and Lillian McCray.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Betty J. Brown; her son, Brian (Patrice) McCrae of Tampa, Florida; her brothers, Jerome McCrae of Bunnell, Florida; Larry Brown and Willie E. Brown of Daytona Beach, Florida; and Clyde (Diane) Brown of Bunnell, Florida; her sisters, Joan Brown of Bunnell, Florida; Diane (Leroy) Brown of Palm Coast, Florida; and Sandra Brown of Daytona Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Christian J. McCrae, Ian Roberts, Chalis McCrae, Justin Olver, Chance McCrae, Antonio Wilson, and Alexes Wilson; her great-grandson, Royce Dyer; her aunts, Emma Lee Paradise, Mae Francis McCray, and Stacey McCrae; her special nieces, Teri Ann (Chris) Torres, Satin Harris, Nyeisha Brown, and Tanisha Prince; her godchildren, Rezea Underwood, Wayne Walker, and Cicely Jones; a special mother figure, Frances Montaruli; and a host of sorrowing cousins, other family members, and dear friends.
