Ricky Marquis Mack was born on June 10, 1980, to Sammy and Rose Mack in Gainesville, Florida. He was educated in the Putnam County School District. Ricky worked for Boston Whaler/Sea Ray for eight years, Hastings Youth Academy for three years, and Ideal Aluminum for three years. On April 4, 2021, he married Shana Smith in Palatka, Florida.
He loved fishing, hunting, building boats, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ricky was preceded in eternal rest by his grandparents, Rose and Richard Curry and Eola and Cedric Mack; brother, Kevin Mack; special cousin, Derrick Mack, Sr.; and father-in-law, Jasper Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shana Smith; parents, Rose and Sammy Mack; mother-in-law, Shirley Smith; daughters, Rickera Mack, Rakayla Corbett (Blake), Aniyah Wiley, and Paris Mack; brother, Sammy Mack Jr. (Jakeida); sister, Precious McKinnon; brothers-in-law, Keith Smith, Kelvin Smith, Antwan Smith, Jermaine Smith and Carlos Smith; grandchildren, Blaze Corbett and Kehlani Session (“Honey”); goddaughter, Aunesty Moore; godson, Jesaiah Johnson; nephews, CJ Mack and Kevin Chapman; aunts, Florita Curry, Arnita Curry, Dana Johnson, Myrtis Curry, Marilyn Nelson, Pam Mack, Mary Mack, Anderlee Mack, and Barbara Mack; uncles, Jerry Mack, David Mack, Tommy Curry (Keisha), and Joe Mack; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
