Robert Lee Holmes was born on June 19, 1949, in Alachua, Florida, to George Holmes and Josephine Arenette. Throughout his life, Robert worked as a mechanic, builder, and local handyman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sharon Ann Holmes, in 2014.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his four loving sons: Kevin Fontaine, Keith Fontaine, Kent Fontaine, and Elliot Fontaine.
His family legacy continues through his eight grandchildren: Shameka Allen, Deangelo Holmes, Keyante Holmes, Myron Tobler, Tameka Lewis, Marquis Smith, Tiera Smith, and Terrance Smith. He also leaves behind 35 additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined.
Robert Lee Holmes will be remembered by his family and loved ones, who will continue to carry his memory forward through the generations.
