Samuel Dale Williams was born on October 27, 1997, to Roger Dale Williams and Faye Wilson in Gainesville. Sam, as he was affectionately known, was educated in the Putnam County School District. During his childhood years, Sam lived a life grounded in his Christian faith.
Upon graduating, Sam chose to serve his country in the United States Army. Through his dedication and commitment, Sam earned the rank of Sgt. during his military service. His decision to serve reflected his heart for family and his desire to love, honor, and protect others. Outside of his call of duty, Sam loved spending time with his family. Even from birth, Sam exhibited a kind heart and pleasant smile that he shared with everyone he came in contact with.
The earth will truly be void of a special father, son, and soldier. Sam also enjoyed fishing as one of his favorite hobbies.
Samuel was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal grandparents, Irene and Robert Whitfield; paternal grandparents, Willajean and Samuel Williams Sr.; aunt, Eilene Whitfield; and cousin, Travis Hall.
He leaves to cherish his memories: father, Roger Williams; mother, Faye Wilson; son, Kane Williams; brothers, Javon (Akyssah) Hines, Demarcus White, and Terry White; sisters, Candra Williams, Paige Williams, Tardasha Williams, Lavasha Hines, and Diesha Williams; aunt, Katana Woods; cousins/godsisters, Irene Pierce and Brianna Mercer; and a host of extended family and friends.
