Shaquane Tyrell “Quan” Whitlock, 27, of St. Augustine, FL entered the sunset of his life July 18, 2022. He was born October 28, 1994, to April Porter and Russell Whitlock in Springfield Massachusetts. He grew up in Southern Pines NC where he attended and received his high school diploma from Pinecrest High. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Fletcher Dirden, Joanne Whitlock, and Odell Battles. Great Grandparents Reverend Cleveland & Claudia Bell and Rufus & Rachel Hatten. Uncle Tyrone Porter and cousins Selena Boatwright, Cebron Jackson, Kaylei Bell and Quincey Bell Sharing the sadness of his departure: parents, April Porter- Edwards (Gregory Earl) of Virginia Beach, VA and Russell Whitlock of Springfield, MA; grandmother, Mae Ollie Bell of Springfield, MA; siblings, Tye Hooks, Kaden Porter, Autumn Porter of Virginia Beach, VA, and Aunt Carrie Vanderburgh (Keenan) of Fayetteville, NC and Honorary siblings De’Asia Bell, Deandra Bell of Springfield, MA; God Mother Victoria Orji of NY. He also leaves to mourn a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

The Family will receive extended family and friends 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in St. Augustine, FL. The Life Celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
