Obituary For Terry Raggins

Terry Cytel Raggins was born on December 14, 1980, to Henry Chapman and Cathy Eley in Suffolk, Virginia. She attended and graduated Warwick High School Class of 1999 in Newport News, Virginia. She received her Associate’s Degree from Thomas Nelson Community College. Terry and Andre Raggins wedded on February 14, 2002. She was employed in the field of medical accounting with Parrallon and later with Aetna in Jacksonville, Florida. She loved spending time with the kids doing various activities, playing cards, and monopoly. Terry enjoyed classic cars and cooking. Her favorite T.V. shows to watch were Criminal Minds and NCIS.

Terry Raggins entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her father, Michael Eley; brother Adrian Boddie; grandparents, James and Ida Bell Chapman; godmother, Ernestine (Granny) Wiggins.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Andre Bernard Raggins of Hastings, Florida; sons, Jae’don Raggins of Hastings, Florida and NaiJhasjuan Boyd of Newport News, Virginia; daughters, Jae’Kayla Raggins and Jae’Kharri Raggins both of Hastings, Florida; grandmother, Willie Eley; brothers, James Boddie of Suffolk, Virginia, Allen Boddie-Chapman of Charlotte, North Carolina, Henry Ricks of Norfolk, Virginia, Chris (Tanya) Parker of Maryland; sisters, Ebony (Ricky) Perry and April Acevado both of Newport News, Virginia, Latonya Thompson of Suffolk, Virginia, Nichole Boddie-Hopson of Charlotte, North Carolina and Scarlet Chapman of Norfolk, Virginia; extended family, Raggins Family, Hackney Family, Jones Family, Hicks Family, Gibson Family, Sukita Wilson and Family; special friends, April McLurkin, Sandra Smith, Enina Boyd, Lynda Holt, Adrienne Terry-Bey, Lakeva Cousins, Johnny Woods, Marie Monroe and Chanell Milton; and a host of extended relatives and grieving friends.
