Mr. McNeil of Lakeland transitioned Wednesday, April 24, 2024. A visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Life to follow. All services will be held at Coney Funeral Home - 647 W. Memorial Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33815.

Doward McNeil was born August 2, 1944 to Jessie and Charlotte McNeil.

Doward was loved by all of his family and close friends. No matter the situation, there was never a dull moment when he was around. He had a smile that would lighten up any room he walked into.
He retired after 30 years of dedicated work at Florida Title. After his retirement, spending time with his adorable family.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the tender age of 79, he entered eternal rest. He was preceded in death parents: Jessie and Charlotte McNeil and siblings: Chambers “C.D.” and William McNeil.

His legacy will forever be continued by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Parthenia Jones-McNeil; children: Malinda Middlebrooks (Stanley), Tammie Odum (Robert), Doward McNeil (Shakia), Arlisa Jones-Williams (Ronald), Ronnie Jones; siblings: Jessie McNeil, Annie Lee Williams, Rena McNeal; sisters-in-law: Opay Day, Faye Borders (Curtis); brother-in-law: Benjamin Jones (Barbara); goddaughter: Lamelle Godfrey and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing family members and friends.
