Gloriet Jean Laster-Boyd
Lakeland - Dr. Gloriet Jean Laster-Boyd of Lakeland, FL passed away June 15, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Zolfo Springs, FL on November 17, 1955.
She was a retired teacher of over 20 years from Hillsborough County Schools and the founder and pastor of Greater Through Christ Jesus Ministries.
Gloriet is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie & Lillie Mae Laster, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Mitchell and Dixie Laughlin.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Boyd, 5 sons, Exzavian, Leeman, Duke, Scott, and Phillip, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and loved ones.
There will be a viewing June 25th, 5-7pm at Coney Funeral Home and a memorial service June 26th, 11:30am at Hardee County Civic Center.
