JOHN BERNARD 'NARDY-NARD' CAMPBELL, Sr, 67

LAKELAND - John Bernard Campbell Sr. (Nickname: Nardy-Nard), 67, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Lakeland, FL. Nardy-Nard loved his family and served as a father figure to many. He was the life of the party and a very funny man. There was never a dull moment when he was around.

He loved music and football and was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Nardy-Nard was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vanessa Campbell; daughter and son-in-law, Monica Campbell Smith and Christopher Smith; two grandchildren, Arlesha Robinson and CJ Smith; two brothers, Robert 'Bobby' Lee Williams (Priscilla) and William 'Billy' Campbell; two sisters, Helen Hoskins and Charlotte 'Elaine' Campbell; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Bernard 'Mr.B' Campbell Jr, mother, Corine Williams; father, Lee Andrew Campbell; two brothers, Jimmy Lee Campbell Sr. and Woodrow Williams, and a sister, Mary Alice Kirkland.

A Visitation will be held on Fri. 6:30-8:00 at Coney Funeral Home. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Sat. 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Institutional Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Lakeland, FL.
