With heartfelt sympathy, the Coney Funeral Home family extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Theodore Jackson. We honor and celebrate a life marked by strength, wisdom, service, and love. May the cherished memories shared with him bring comfort and peace during this difficult season.
A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00AM–10:00AM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00AM at Coney Memorial Blvd Chapel, 647 W. Memorial Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33815.
Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Anita Hall could not be here today to honor and salute a great man.l am the mother of their grandson, Terence Jackson Jr. I cante into Papa Ted and Momma Mattie's life in 1990. When I first met them, Momma Mattie was such a calm and gentle soul, while Papa Ted had the personality of a true no-nonsense man. As time went on, I grew to love them both as my second parents and family. They loved me as a daughter. Papa was a very stern man, but our conversations were always filled with wisdom and life lessons. Ue constantly reminded me about the importance saving money and makina education a priority. Those talks meant so much to me, and I will treasure every special moment I shared with both of them. One thing 1 will truly miss is our phone conversations and hearing him say, "Nita, I want you to listen to me." Those words will stay with me forever. My heart hurts, but I know Papa Ted is now resting peacefully, His love, wisdom, strength, and the values he shared will continue to live on through all of us, He never be forgotten.
