We miss you, my friend. May you rest in peace. You was my best friend. We had some very fun time. You were like one of the family. I wished I lived nearby so I could attend, but my heart is with you rest in heaven, my friend.

Master Perry was my sons instructor for 30 years. Great teachers. Heaven has a Tae kwon do angel 😇

Perry Taylor, you were a cherished part of the Echols family for many years. It began with simple, unforgettable moments, holiday meals of fries and hamburgers at your mother and grandmother's restaurant, V&O's in Columbia, Mississippi. Our parents took us there to experience one of our first Black owned restaurants, and we dropped quarters into the jukebox like it was magic.

You stood beside my sister as her prom date, and later became Uncle PJ to our children, guiding and sharpening their martial arts skills with quiet strength and discipline. You always took a moment to honor my father as a fellow proud Alcorn State University Brave, and that meant more than words could say. Alcorn's band was great because of your French horn, and your presence carried that same strength and grace.

May you rest in complete and eternal peace. You were truly a fantabulous man.

Celina Echols

Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
